Tempering is an essential skill when working with chocolate, but mastering the process can be challenging. Different techniques require precise steps, temperatures, and methods, making it difficult for professionals and aspiring chocolatiers to achieve consistent results without the right guidance.
As part of its Chocolate School initiative, Callebaut wanted to make this knowledge more accessible to its audience. The goal was to provide professionals and semi-professionals with an engaging way to learn the tempering process at their own pace while accommodating different methods and preferences.
Tempering chocolate is one of the big challenges when working with chocolate. As a part of the new Callebaut Chocolate School initiative, Callebaut decided to create and launch an Interactive Conversation to take their customers through the process step by step. The conversation allowed visitors to choose between different methods, depending on their preference.
The Interactive Conversation gave Callebaut a digital way to share its chocolate-making expertise with professionals and semi-professionals looking to improve their tempering skills.
By guiding participants through the process step by step and allowing them to select their preferred tempering method, the experience made technical educational content easier to navigate and more relevant to each participant.
The experience supported Callebaut's wider Chocolate School initiative by providing another engaging way for professionals to develop their skills and learn directly from the brand's chocolate expertise.
