Do I need to know how to code to use Dot.vu?
No, no coding or impressive IT skills are required to use Dot.vu. There are two ways to work on our platform: you can use our ready-to-be-customized templates or create your own project from scratch using our comprehensible drag & drop editor. Both ways are intuitive and code-free.
Can I integrate Dot.vu with my other software and tools?
We see Dot.vu as your go-to tool to create Interactive Content at scale. Therefore, it is important for us that you can integrate Dot.vu with your other software and online tools. That's why we made so many integrations available and a way for you to easily create your own integrations if we don’t have them yet using our custom API addon.
Who hosts the Interactive Experiences I launch using Dot.vu?
All Dot.vu Interactive Experiences are hosted by Dot.vu, and you can connect them to your subdomain of choice, use them as a standalone or embed them on any website or app.
Can I try the platform before subscribing?
Yes, we offer a 14-Day Free Trial that allows you to explore our platform and its full range of features.
Can I purchase an individual template?
No. It is not possible to buy templates individually. Instead, you need to choose a subscription.
With our subscriptions, you have access to all different types of Interactive Content and all templates available on our marketplace.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
Plus, for yearly memberships, we also offer manual invoicing.
How does your billing system work?
Both Basic and Premium subscriptions can be either paid monthly or annually. They are risk-free and can be canceled at any point in time before a new month starts. They are renewed on the purchase date, which is the starting date of your subscription. You also have the option of disabling the auto-renewal. If you opt to be billed annually, you will save 20%.
What happens if I exceed the monthly visitor limits included in my subscription?
If you exceed your monthly visitors, you will receive an email from us, asking you to upgrade to another subscription plan. Your live Interactive Content will continue to function as normal, and you will still be able to access your account and all your data will still be available to you.
What are the subscription limitations for larger companies/enterprises?
All of our subscriptions are intended for a single company or brand. Therefore, if you have a more complex organization/enterprise and want to include more business units, brands, companies, and countries in your subscription, you should look into the Enterprise subscription, which is custom-made based on your needs.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, at Dot.vu, we allow you to upgrade your subscription at any time during your subscription period. For instance, if you chose a basic subscription and decided to upgrade to a premium subscription in the middle of your payment period, you will be upgraded immediately and only be charged the difference.
You can also decide to downgrade to a lower subscription. However, keep in mind that not all subscriptions offer the same number of integrations, live projects, and team members. So, if you want to downgrade to a lower subscription, you will have to make sure you can comply with it. For example, this means that if you have 4 live projects and you want to downgrade to a subscription that only allows for 1 live project, you will be kindly asked to unpublish 3 of your projects, so you only have 1 live project.
In other words, you will be notified of what is required for you to downgrade before you take the decision, so you can decide if it’s the right thing to do.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription plan at any point in time before your next period starts by stopping the automatic renewal. Then, at the end of your current subscription, all your projects will automatically go offline. However, they will still be available on your account.

How can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, you can simply disable the automatic renewal setting from your dashboard when you are logged in on Dot.vu
What happens to all my content and data if I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel your subscription plan, at the end of your current period, all your live projects will automatically go offline. However, the data you collected, and all your assets will be accessible for a limited amount of time to ease your transition.
All collected data and analytics will be accessible for 30 days after the subscription ends, and all other assets - i.e., account, users and roles, projects, uploaded media - will be accessible for 12 months in case you wish to reactivate your subscription and reuse content.
Are Agency Services hours included with subscriptions?
Yes, Agency Services hours are available with yearly subscriptions only. These hours provide full project support or assistance at any stage of your process. The number of hours included depends on your subscription package:

What happens after the 14-Day Free Trial ends?
At the end of your 14-Day Free Trial, you can either choose to extend your trial or select a subscription plan that best fits your needs.

If you don’t choose a subscription after the trial ends, your projects will be unpublished. However, once you subscribe, you can publish them again at any time.
What can I do during the 14-Day Free Trial?
The 14-Day Free Trial lets you fully explore our platform and its features. You can create, experiment, and even publish projects during the trial period. The trial includes 3 user seats and supports up to 100 unique visitors.
Is a quarterly account review meeting included with my subscription?
Quarterly account review meetings are included with yearly subscriptions. These sessions provide regular assessments of your progress every quarter. The availability of quarterly meetings depends on your subscription package:

Can I be GDPR compliant with Dot.vu?
Yes. Dot.vu provides all the necessary tools for you to be GDPR compliant, from controlling exactly what data is collected and processed from your Interactive Experiences, where it goes, and if it is or is not stored with Dot.vu. We also keep appropriate security controls and signed DPAs with our sub-processors to ensure compliance.
Can I disable tracking on my Interactive Experiences?
Yes, you can easily select the option “Disable (No tracking)” under the cookie bar setting of each of your projects. This way, no tracking will be done.
How do Cookies and Consent work using Dot.vu?
Dot.vu Interactive Experiences set one essential cookie and may set a tracking cookie and a functionality cookie. The essential cookie is, as the name suggests, required. But you can use the cookie bar to control if and when your interactive experience will set a tracking cookie.
