The Challenge

The World Health Organization is constantly working to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable. They had an upcoming exhibit at the World Health Assembly where they wanted to educate participants about the Guinea worm disease. WHO's challenge was to find a way to interact with users to inform and incentivize them to learn about the disease and spread knowledge about it to ensure a safer future by establishing preventive measures in underdeveloped locations.

Therefore, WHO decided to collaborate with Dot.vu to support its exhibit with the following goals:

The Concept and the Solution

WHO created an Educational Quiz about the Guinea worm disease eradication for the 71st World Health Assembly. The quiz had two different versions focusing on the difficulty level, including an easy and a difficult version — both of these challenged visitors on their knowledge of the subject. Participants could repeat the quiz upon unsuccessful completion to ensure they extend their understanding of the disease and improve their knowledge.

The Result

The Dot.vu team is proud to have worked together with WHO and supported their exhibit with an Interactive Content solution. The Educational Quiz has enabled them to better communicate and engage with its participants.

Most importantly, to inform and educate people about the Guinea worm disease, helping them gain the knowledge needed to establish preventive measures and eradicate it successfully.
